MANEKI are a five-piece pop-rock band.

Although so far unsigned, they are demonstrating great talent and diversity.

Band members hail from London, Maidstone, Bolton, Bracknell and Finland.

We have Taf on lead vocals, Minz on guitar, Matt on guitar and backing vocals, Rob on bass and backing vocals and Vesa on drums.

The name MANEKI came from “Maneki-Neko” meaning “The Beckoning Cat” which is a popular Japanese talisman or lucky charm in the image of a cat with a paw raised in a beckoning position.

It’s a symbol for good luck, prosperity, good health and protection.

Their debut demos ‘Deaf & Dumb” and ‘Toria” were nominated Unsigned Records of the Week by the industry guide The Hit Sheet.

The band just finished making their debut video for the song “Killa”.

“Mission to Mars”, MANEKI’s instrumental, features as an opening tune to their website.

MANEKI has recently been tipped as, one of the “best new bands” by CMU Unsigned and MUZU TV.

They've been playing live in places around London and the South East of England and are now ready to take the music industry by storm.
